MICHELLE CHIANG
Ballet Instructor
Having been exposed to art, music and dance from a young age, Michelle's love for ballet has led her to complete the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus up to Grade 8 and Advanced Foundation. She is currently working towards RAD Advanced 1. Her teaching is grounded in technique, with an emphasis on clarity, musicality and building strong foundations that support each student’s individual journey.

In addition to classical ballet, Michelle also has experience in other genres of dance such as Girls’ Style and K-pop, which informs a well-rounded and adaptable approach to teaching, particularly for young dancers developing coordination, confidence and expression.

Michelle’s professional background outside the studio has shaped her appreciation for discipline, structure and careful progression — qualities she brings into her teaching. Ballet has been a long-term commitment of hers (she regularly jokes that ballet is her fourth bar(re)), and one that she immensely values for its rigour, focus and capacity to build patience, determination and resilience.

She has a particular love for working with children and is deeply invested in the mentoring aspect of teaching. She brings a thoughtful, structured and deeply nurturing approach to ballet education. Michelle believes ballet education is as much about character, confidence and steady growth as it is about steps, and she strives to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel guided, encouraged and respected.
